Partnerships

Spirited News Briefing considers clearly identified commercial collaborations that fit a publication about news literacy. A partnership cannot buy editorial conclusions, independent coverage or a reader's trust.

Possible collaborations

We consider relevant educational campaigns, commissioned informational material and partner placements that can be presented transparently alongside the publication's editorial work. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, format, timing and any claims or materials the collaboration would involve. We may decline work that conflicts with the publication's focus or makes disclosure difficult.

Where placements may appear

Accepted placements may appear on individual pages or in recurring positions across the website. The location, format and scope are agreed before publication; inclusion does not imply that every reader will see a particular placement. A placement is not a link to, or endorsement of, independent editorial coverage.

Clear labelling

Partner and paid material is labelled where it appears so readers can distinguish it from editorial content. Labels do not replace meaningful disclosure about the nature of a collaboration. Editorial decisions remain separate, and partners do not approve independent coverage or its conclusions.

Start a conversation

Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Describe the proposed work and the placement you have in mind. No audience figures, delivery promises or publication commitments are implied by an enquiry.

Our point of view

A sharp reader asks what the story can support

A vivid headline is not a substitute for a clear source, relevant context or an honest account of what remains unknown.
